What's new in Sovelia Core 25.0?
In this release, we have introduced Drag and Drop functionality to streamline your workflow. This powerful enhancement allows you to drag objects effortlessly, wherever thumbnails are available, whether within the same structure or across different tabs. Supporting all object types and multiple objects at once, Drag and Drop makes structure creation and modifications faster and more intuitive. With this functionality, the usability takes a leap forward, making it easier to organize and adapt your data with a simple drag.
The dashboard and notifications look and feel have been redesigned to enhance usability and visibility. The new layout brings all essential features to the front page, ensuring quick access to your data. Notifications are now always visible and can be filtered by type, keeping you informed at a glance. An admin can configure the dashboard, and the user can make further customizations.
The new template-based manufacturing BOM streamlines the creation of manufacturing BOMs. With BOM mapping, predefined template structures provide an organized and efficient way to generate and manage MBOMs. This approach enhances consistency while allowing flexibility, and users can ensure structured and repeatable BOM transformations, reducing manual effort and improving accuracy.
According to the customer feedback, we’ve now added Microsoft Publisher (.pub) to PDF conversion, expanding our existing file converters. Conversions can be automated during status changes, making .pub files easier to handle.
Support for creating ECO and ECR objects from the Sovelia CAD Add-In for Autodesk Inventor has been added, reducing the need to switch between windows when working with the ECM workflow. This feature requires a suitable CAD Add-In version - see what’s new in Sovelia CAD Add-In for Inventor 25.1
In this release, we’ve expanded SSO support to Extranet and Supplier Collaboration users, allowing object users to log in seamlessly with Single Sign-On, improving security and simplifying access.
