Launch ECO and ECR creation from Inventor (Sovelia Core 25.0 or higher required)

The CAD add-in now allows you to launch ECO (Engineering Change Order) and ECR (Engineering Change Request) creation directly from Inventor. These commands open the Sovelia HTML client and initiate the ECO or ECR creation process using the same mechanism as when launched from the HTML client. This enhancement enables designers to work more seamlessly within Inventor.

Trigger Configuration Managed in Sovelia Core Self-Admin Tool (Sovelia Core 25.0 or higher required)

The CAD add-in is now capable of reading trigger configurations directly from the Sovelia Core self-admin tool. This improvement simplifies the administrator's workflow and makes implementing the CAD add-in easier.

UI Enhancements

Item creation wizard

• Displays the existing part number that will be used as the Sovelia ID.
• Provides a more intuitive interface when linking a model to an existing item.

Status filter in promote

• When promoting multiple objects, the system now automatically uses the lowest status in the status filter. This reduces the likelihood of unplanned object approvals or status skipping.

Fixes

Multi-monitor setup issues

• When switching from a multi-monitor to a single-monitor setup, pop-up windows occasionally became difficult to position correctly. The CAD add-in now detects the number of screens and aligns windows appropriately.

3D model opening behavior

• Previously, opening a 3D model from the HTML client always loaded the local version of the file if it existed. Starting with release 25.1, the CAD add-in ensures the latest version is opened from the Vault.
