Sovelia Core 26.0 focuses on improving guidance, usability, and efficiency across the system. The release introduces the Sovelia AI Helper to provide contextual and customer‑specific assistance directly inside the application, alongside several usability enhancements driven by user feedback. Improvements to the BOM Mapper give users better control, visibility, and performance when working with manufacturing structures, while additional security, performance optimizations, and fixes help ensure a stable and reliable everyday experience.
Sovelia Core 26.0 introduces the Sovelia AI Helper as an integrated part of the application, guiding users through their daily work in a more contextual and customer‑specific way. The AI Helper assists users with general workflows, feature discovery, and practical “how‑to” guidance directly within the system.
In addition to Sovelia’s standard user documentation, the AI Helper can use customer‑specific materials that are stored in Sovelia and marked as AI source documentation. These can include quality documentation, internal standards, customer‑specific Sovelia user guides, or descriptions of how a particular Sovelia environment is set up—such as which attributes exist, what processes are used, and how they are intended to work in that specific instance. Since Sovelia is configured differently at each customer, this allows the AI Helper to provide more relevant and accurate guidance tailored to the actual environment users are working in.
The AI Helper is also aware of Sovelia features and the releases in which they were introduced, helping users understand what functionality is available in their system and where to find it.

Several usability improvements have been introduced in Sovelia Core 26.0 based directly on customer and user feedback, with the goal of making daily work smoother and more efficient.

Dark mode support has been added to provide a more comfortable visual option, especially for users who spend long periods working in the application. This gives users more flexibility in how they interact with Sovelia and improves overall visual comfort.

Saved searches can now be categorized, making it easier to organize and reuse frequently needed queries. This improvement helps users find the right views faster and keeps commonly used searches well structured, particularly in environments with large amounts of data.

Working with complex structures is now clearer, as grid items can be expanded or collapsed by multiple levels at once. This reduces repetitive clicking and makes it easier to navigate deep hierarchies and large data sets during daily work.

Quick access buttons have been added to provide faster entry points to commonly used actions. By reducing the number of steps needed for frequent tasks, this enhancement improves efficiency and keeps workflows more fluid.

Sharing information has also been made easier with the ability to copy a direct link to a specific revision. This allows users to quickly point colleagues to the exact revision being discussed, improving collaboration and reducing ambiguity.

In addition to these visible improvements, Sovelia Core 26.0 includes numerous smaller usability refinements and fixes across the system. While subtle on their own, together they contribute to a smoother and more consistent overall user experience.
The BOM Mapper has been enhanced to give users better control over manual changes in manufacturing BOMs. MBOM item links created by mapping rules are now identified, while manually added links are left untouched during updates. This allows users to preserve intentional manual changes and exclude selected automatically generated links from future updates when needed.
Mapping definitions can now be inherited from phantom items to their child items in the EBOM. When enabled, child items automatically use the phantom’s mapping logic if no specific mapping is defined for them, including across multiple levels. This reduces repetitive work and helps keep mappings consistent.
Visibility between EBOM and MBOM has been improved with new summaries that highlight quantity differences and EBOM items that are not mapped to any MBOM phase. This provides a faster way to understand the structure state without manual checks.
Overall performance when reading mapping rules and comparing MBOM structures has also been improved, making structure creation and updates faster during everyday work.
In addition to the feature enhancements in this release, Sovelia Core 26.0 includes various security improvements, performance optimizations, and bug fixes. These updates help improve system stability, responsiveness, and reliability, ensuring a smoother experience during everyday use.
