Greetings from the Sovelia Plant team - December 2024

A lot has been going on around Sovelia Plant lately - read the news and stay informed about Axelerator and our new product owner.

Greetings from the Sovelia Plant team - December 2024

Axelerator will continue to be part of Sovelia Plant

Some of you were contacted by Axelerator this autumn and informed that Axelerator would no longer be part of Sovelia Plant starting from the turn of the year 2024/2025. This announcement was made prematurely by Axelerator. We understand that this caused confusion and uncertainty about the future of Sovelia Plant. During ongoing negotiations, we chose not to publicly address Axelerator’s information.

We are pleased to confirm that the agreement has been extended, and Axelerator will continue to be part of Sovelia Plant even after the turn of the year.

Going forward, you can feel confident that you will be able to continue using the Axelerator component library in Sovelia Plant. This ensures a seamless design workflow, helping you work more efficiently and effectively on your projects.

New Product Owner for Sovelia Plant

Another change this autumn is the new product owner for Sovelia Plant. As of October 1st, Janne Juujärvi is responsible for Sovelia Plant at Symetri.

Some information about Janne:

“I live just outside Borlänge, Sweden and am part of the historic Symetri office in the city where the company’s journey began several decades ago.

I have worked with piping and process industries in one form or another throughout my 20-year career. Over the past 10 years, I’ve focused more on digital roles as a designer, application specialist, and trainer. Before that, I worked in welding and assembly management in various process-heavy industries. My particular passion is data management in design tools and engineering databases. Often, the valuable information generated during projects is lost because data transfer to management systems is insufficient.

I have met some of you customers this autumn and hope to meet many more of you in the coming year.”
