Sovelia Days 2025 Brought Together the Sovelia Community

The heart of Sovelia Days has always been open dialogue and collaboration. This year was no exception. With a strong focus on networking, the two-day event offered plenty of opportunities for informal discussions through coffee breaks, round-table sessions, dinners, and relaxed evening activities.

The agenda featured a mix of inspiring customer stories and deep dives into Sovelia’s latest developments. Four customers took the stage to share their journeys and use cases:

• Metos – Tero Kähärä, Lead Engineer, presented how the professional kitchen manufacturer leverages Sovelia in their engineering processes.
• Sisu Auto – Juho Laine, R&D Director, shared insights into the role of Sovelia in developing and producing trucks and military vehicles.
• Kontio – Tuomo Vattula, Product Development Engineer, gave a PLM perspective from the world’s leading log house company.
• Škoda Transtech – Kai Hermonen, Smart Rail Ecosystem PM/IT Manager, talked about Sovelia’s role in their innovative rail solutions.

Symetri’s presentations highlighted the current status of product development ideas raised in previous Sovelia Days, shared the latest advancements in Sovelia Core (including developments around AI and sustainability) and introduced new opportunities for sales configuration with Sovelia Configurator.

Group discussions allowed participants to dive deeper into themes like AI, sustainability, 3D visualization, workflow management, sales configuration, and data analytics, sparking engaging conversations and knowledge exchange throughout the event. These discussions not only benefited attendees but also provided valuable insight for Symetri’s ongoing product development, helping shape the future of Sovelia solutions.

The atmosphere remained relaxed and interactive, with lively Q&As and informal conversations during every break. As always, Sovelia Days blended valuable professional insights with good company, great discussions, and a touch of fun in the evening.
